This has everything you can ask for in a GPS system. Bright view, widescreen display. It's very thin and light. Has a small but sturdy mount that fits nicely in all cars I tried it in. Has free FM traffic for life, via Navteq, which seems to update frequently and has good coverage. I compared this directly against a TomTom Go 740 LIVE on 2 different occasions with a friend on business trips to DC from central VA. Both performed equally well, and while the TomTom gets traffic information a little sooner because of the internet connectivity, the Garmin traffic updated quickly enough to allow for rerouting when possible. The graphics and display are nicer than TomTom, in my opinion. The voice is clear, the unit is loud enough and the settings are quite easy to change. I highly recommend this GPS.

I've always been a Garmin fan, but the Nuvi 1350T is above average even for Garmin. One of the simplest GPS units to use. It's precise and the voice for turns makes it even easier. I used to buy a built in Nav system in my cars, but the difference of $1,500 for the Nav to less than $200 for the Nuvi makes it a no brainer. Good for Garmin and Amazon.

After a mind numbing week of seeking the best GPS for my 1st purchase I decided on the 1350t. The price point on the 1350t, 765t, 855, 760, 265wt were all very similiar. My final decision came after calling Garmin and talking with Customer service. Although I would have liked Bluetooth, the extra $40 could be spent better elsewhere. This model lacks Routing, but has enough memory to save a few routes and homebase which is enough for me. I like the bells and whistles of the previous models, but the most updated software was a biggest selling point or a few more features from outdating models....although good ones.
Now for the use of the 1350t, performed beautiful out of the box. Fast interface changes or re-routes if wrong turn. Found satellites within 1 minute. Touch screen is super sensitive. Sound is more than adequate and could even go louder....jamming on radio with windows open. Points of interest are superior having my church and other out of the way eateries in my small town area of 40,000. This is great model, just would have gotten bluetooth if I wanted to spend additonal money, but using this model is so pleasant that I dont miss it. Has routed almost 100% perfect for routes I already know with shortcuts. No negatives for this model. Other good GPS models out there I am sure, but this is a winner.

This unit has lots of nifty features, but I've got one gripe: It overheats and shuts down for hours to days, usually right before an important turn. Garmin recommends updating the software, to no avail. I sent it back for a new one. New one had the same issues. I sent it back for another new one. At this point saying I'm doubtful about performance is an optimistic point of view.
