I know there are some photographers still like to pick up trusty 'ol reflex, put a roll of film and go out there and experience in the field. So the approach with a smile expectations, as pick up the film developed from their favorite camera store and ask the person behind the counter, "How do you get that photo is awesome!"
And 'This is the picture' pure ', that I (this time) appeal - to those who still like the movie from time to time. MostThe photographers have Digital SLRs (DSLR - "et moi aussi"). I know you can create this effect with Photoshop, after the fact, but what to do with creative control over this special effect is exciting because this wonderful photograph in the same moment you press the shutter button to perform.
. Ghosting This is what this special effect is called, accomplished by using multiple exposure feature is your camera, but with a simple twist of the film proper exposure. The detailed methodin this article differs from the instructions in your SLR manual. ghosting is perfect for pictures with moving subjects when the camera is taken and the context of the fund is stable (no movement) and move materials in order, or. I have had great success with this move effect when photographing people on an historic site or children as they scurry among the rocks. I used this effect for weddings and sports shoots.
Example:photograph a wedding, the groom stood still at the bottom of the stone steps of a historic house, held out his hand to his wife, moving slowly down the stairs to her husband. My deliberated six clicks the shutter created an airy, surreal picture of the couple.
Depending on the speed of moving objects, the closure of the rapid fire mode or each exposure can be kept meticulously choreographed:
1) each subject deliberately positioned toFrame,
2) and a shutter
3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the total number of multiple exposures in camera.
So what are the mechanisms of the lens "shot to get the effect of" ghosts?
1. Stabilize the camera - using a tripod is best, is a solid surface, a second option, or a steady hand as a last resort;
2. specified number of multiple exposures per frame (N) - usually 1 to 9;
3. For film rolein SLR, determine the sensitivity (S);
4. Place the camera film speed (Yes, you can override this setting forces) to (N × S) or, if not an exact match, set the absolute speed to the next ((N × S) ± adjustment);
5. Take your image, pressing the shutter button, making a total for the number of camera shots that you set in step "2."
Example:
1. You want 6 exposures on the frame (N = 6), the number of multiple exposures to'6 ';
2. Having determined the film speed is 200 (S = 200);
3. Place the camera film speed to "1200" (= 200 × 6);
4. Press the shutter button 6 times (6 shots).
WARNING: Check and reset the SLR film speed and number of credits to the original settings before starting the next shot. Some SLRs will automatically reset the number of exposures back to '1 'before advancing the film to the next. It 's always best to checkthis.
There are no special instructions to develop your film. Normal development to the film speed indicated will ensure that the image is properly exposed and developed - simple and beautiful. This picture is art!
SLR Film Photography Special Effects (Part 1) - ghostingThe Dslr, Digital particular Lens Reflex Camera is a super advancement on cameras of old and not even that long ago. The photography World has moved on and in a very big way too. It all started with the digital compact and has moved on gracefully from there; even your mobile phone camera is more than capable of producing some pretty engaging pictures these days.
But some of the more scholar subjects still want a clear whole of scholar knowledge and equipment if you are determined to create a extremely impressive picture...
Take the moon for instance, generally you would think it fairly straight transmit to photograph, and in a way it pretty much is, but remember the planet is a quarter of a million miles away and only three and a half thousand kilometres in diameter so giving it some respect when wanting to get some great images is the only way to go.
Let us say that you have or are thinking of getting a Dslr camera of some description, which are more than capable of taking some phenomenal pictures of the moon, but with most Dslr cameras you will only get a standard lens, generally these are very good all round lenses, but unfortunately will not provide very impressive results when photographing the moon or any other part of the Solar System, so an upgraded lens would be a must for good high potential images.
A 28-200mm will provide you with good potential close and mid range pictures, ideal for daily use and air-shows etc as well as some very nice length shots that are not mega miles away. Ideally you would want a 70-300mm or even a 100-500mm where possible, but with a lens like this it is only for real ideally grand to the longer length shots and not very good with whatever very close up.
Top Tip: The bigger the lens the harder it is to take still perfect pictures, so a tripod, monopod (monopod = tripod with one leg) or bean bag is a must. Using a tripod and taking the pictures on timer or even using a remote control will yield perfect results.
But wait, before you rush out and buy masses of lenses there is a way colse to this. One of the ways of getting a benefit out of your standard lens that comes with your camera is to use a 2x converter; this does exactly what it says on the tin.
So for instance if the standard camera lens is only an 18-70mm it will increase the length pictures to 140mm and is also pretty good for close ups too, even insects in some cases, so an ideal digital Dslr digital camera kit would consist of the camera of choice with standard lens, a 2x converter and a 28-200mm lens.
This kit would allow you to capture some awesome images of pretty much everything and whatever that you want to.
The 2x converters are a pretty good choice if funds is an issue as lenses can in some cases work out quite expensive, but for real a must at some point. One of the downsides with a converter in some cases is that you might have to lose the autofocus installation on your camera and focus manually, but this is a small reduce for extremely improved phenomenal photos.
Finally, if it is a engaging moon you might want to try using a low Iso, something like 100 Iso should do up to 400 Iso, but for best results take a few on each Iso setting and check your results in your cameras Lcd display. You will soon be able to tell if it is too bright. Taking your first great photograph of the moon craters an-all is a pretty awesome caress and not one to be taken lightly.
By now you should have a pretty good idea on photographing the moon with a digital particular lens reflex camera, which is an phenomenal subject when you start getting it right.

Exposure payment is what you can do to override the exposure settings set by the camera's metering system. Assuming you have set the Iso to a exact level, eg. Iso 100, the metering principles in your camera measures the estimate of light in the photo and tells you the gap ,break and shutter speed needed for a spoton exposure. There are ordinarily 3 types of metering methods used in today's Dslr cameras.
Multi-Segment Metering
Most cameras use multi-segment metering as the default metering system. In Nikon cameras this is called Matrix Metering. In Canon cameras it is referred to as Evaluative Metering. Other brands of camera may have slightly dissimilar terminology. This metering principles measures the glow in any areas in the photo and finds an median (emphasis varies depending on the camera). This type of metering can be fooled by more absorbing lighting conditions such as strong backlighting.
Strong backlighting conditions are where the estimate of light on the background is far more intense than the estimate of light on the foreground area. This ordinarily happens when you shoot a field indoors, with a brightly lit outdoor background.
Ideal lighting conditions are where there is a similar estimate of light illuminating both the background and foreground. Ideal lighting is where the camera's multi-segment metering does a good job.
Spot Metering
Nikon calls it Spot Metering, while Canon calls it Partial Metering. For pinpoint control on the area for which the camera measures brightness, use spot metering if it's available. This metering principles only samples a very small point within the photo (usually in the center) instead of any areas. You can press the shutter issue halfway to meter the desired area, hold the Ae lock button, and then re-frame the shot.
Alternatively, take an exposure reading with spot metering, note the gap ,break and shutter speed, and switch to hand-operated exposure mode. This enables you to focus on a field which isn't what you measured the exposure on.
Center Weighted Metering
This metering formula is designed for a uncomplicated uncomplicated portrait of a person, positioned in the center of the frame. It measures the center area (in some cameras, the estimate of area measured can be set by the user) and bases its exposure advice on this area.
Exposure Compensation
Normally, exposure payment is used in the semi-auto modes such as gap ,break Priority and Shutter Priority. This puts a distinct degree of control (though not as faultless as hand-operated exposure) in the hands of the photographer. In gap ,break Priority mode, you can tell the camera to expose brighter by pressing the Ev button (usually indicated by a +/- icon) and shifting the control dial towards the distinct (eg. +1 which means 1 stop brighter). This is helpful in backlit conditions. In Nikon cameras the range of adjustment is all the way to +5.
In hand-operated exposure mode, you are essentially performing exposure payment if you are using a Aperture/Shutter mixture that is not what is advised by the exposure meter.
