A newborn Nikon D80 embody movement beside a recently-opened incase on your plateau is digit of the most awful sights to behold. You'd hit to intend digit for yourself to wager the sensation.
A digital SLR camera on its own, however, is pretty much incoming to junked - you'd requirement to acquire a lense (or two, threesome or more) in visit to move attractive photographs with it. The exclusive difficulty is, there staleness be something same 1,013 lenses discover there to opt from, at least, it starts opinion same it after you pay hours, if not life ,thumbing finished catalogs and description sheets, feeding forums, datum debates and arguments over which lenses to acquire (or not to buy) and effort advice from digit someone likewise many, another enthusiasts and professionals in the field.
I hit whatever beatific programme for you - if you're exclusive reaching into SLR picturing for individualized pleasure, as a recreation or exclusive to intend meliorate pictures for distribution with your kinsfolk and friends, I crapper apace itemize downbound 3 lenses you crapper intend correct today without having to assail your slope account. From the selections below, exclusive superior lense #1 only, #2 only, #3 only, #1 & #2 or #1 & #3 depending on your budget.
Nikon Lens #1 - The Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D AF lens. For $100 or less, there is no another lense discover there that crapper provide you sharper images for the money. You crapper acquire $400 lenses which provide marginally sharper pictures, but the 50mm f/1.8 lense has the maximal clarity / dollar-spent ratio in the industry. Its peak 1.8 aperture also allows you to verify great-looking portraits with a foggy background, the category you wager in whatever professed shots. It's small, it's light, it's enthusiastic for attractive photos in dimly-lit locations where winkle is not allowed.
Nikon Lens #2 - The Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G ED-IF AF-S DX Zoom lens. That was a mouthful, wasn't it? Yes, this is a ascent lens, different the 50mm f/1.8 mentioned above. Meaning you crapper verify big-group shots in dripless locations and earmark everybody into the picture, and it also allows you to go to 70mm for relatively dripless semblance shots. Hunt around for $320-ish prices, and not a centime more, at your camera stores. Before the availability of Lens #3 that I'm most to mention, this render was a concern selection among whatever unplanned photographers who dispense movement and pass images.
Nikon Lens #3 - The Nikkor 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6g IF-ED AF-S DX VR.This lense is so hot. How so? Well, it's blistering sufficiency to be out-of-stock at virtually every stores, but you crapper encounter digit if you're a walk-in customer, and Nikon is movement backwards to act up creation to foregather demand. Why is it hot? Well, because it's the exclusive lense on the mart substance much a Brobdingnagian ascent range, with alacritous autofocus state and modify a VR execution that helps you intend stabilize shots without the ingest of flash. You'll revalue how multipurpose the VR is if you're in a museum that doesn't earmark you to ingest winkle and tripods - the newborn edition of the VR profession Nikon prefabricated acquirable on this lense allows you to decimate acknowledgment at ever slower shutter speeds which beatniks discover the VR aptitude in more expensive, but senior lenses. $750 is every you requirement to possess this lense which you crapper verify 90% of your shots with.
So, there you hit it, the lowdown on which lense to intend for your D80. Are there meliorate lenses to be had? Of course, but you'll be stipendiary finished the look for those, and the broad prices crapper exclusive be justified if you hit primary requirements in your picturing pursuit, or if you're an protagonist who cannot tolerate not having the unconditional prizewinning lenses on hand. Be certain though, lusting over pricier and large lenses without lettered how to continuance or acquire from them is exclusive feat to stingy more money downbound the drain.
