I have gone the route of using "generic" ink before in my printers and in the long run, it has shortened the quality and life of the printer. So with my new Canon I decided to use the brand ink and this site offered one of the least expensive. However, as far as the product, be very, very careful removing the orange cap covering the ink. It is difficult to remove and one of my favorite tops is now covered in tiny, black ink splatters. Canon really should address this problem as I am sure I'm not the only one with this experience. So, Amazon gets 5 stars; Canon gets 3; average of 4.

OK, what am I supposed to review ink cartridges on? They work, don't gum up the printer, come at a decent price (for ink), and all is well with the world.
