Stubblefield was more than a little 'anxious buy this lens before many official reports came out, but I'm really glad I did. I have a set of 18-55, 70-300, 60mm f/2.8 Macro, and 50 first (dimensions beginner great, BTW), but I needed something I could hold my camera and forget when you go out in city. As a young woman who loves handbags small, this is a constant internal battle awesome hang my camera around his neck as a "I'm on a project and should not be affected" necklace, or something in an envelope with a large camera my the second goal in a "no kids, but can also cause this looks like a diaper bag" fashion. Progress divert male or less. It's just a question of how light, I travel when I do. And if I leave some things very stealable home, I will. How does it feel? This seems to be the same feeling as my 70-300. It is a feeling of light plastic-y like the 18-55, the bridges and muscular is prudent, but not heavy, the weight for him, I would not use this target for the enemies of society, but it feels like no one came rubber ball or machine. What color is like? We have compared this lens the Canon EF 50mm F1.4 USM Standard & Medium Telephoto Canon SLR (identical photographs taken with the same focal length, f-stop settings, etc.) The two goals were incredibly clear and much gentler on the spots on the edges (when taken at F8), but the colors of the 18-135 were much less washing. We certainly had the white balance settings blocked two shots, but just showed 18-135 red, purple, blue, green, all colors are more vivid and true. Now, if you want your family photos to look like something out of a cartoon, with bursts of color wildest spirits, you have to turn to the post-treatment for it. Weirdo. Everything I say is that I will not have to change the color balance with experience in prison was not cloudy looking color photographs of all the family kills the vibe of a photomontage greyish lot like Alcatraz. Yes, but I can get a 17-85 or 15-85 again, right? Good point, buddy. But after the extra focal length of 85 mm is really worth, especially when photographing things through a street or photographing wildlife semi-closed. And if the 15-85 is much more expensive and the 17-85 is about the same price, why not go for a longer length? You could make the same argument for the 18-200, but I do not think clearly affected (and heavy weighing 21 grams, 16.1 grams vs. the 18-135) is worth the extra focal length. You also have the latest version of the image stabilization system with this. But there is no USM and the 17-85 USM. I need all my lenses have USM! Not so fast, buddy. Admittedly, there USM on this lens. But after using both the 17-85 and 18-135, the latter is as fast as the auto focus can not have USM, but not a big difference. The engine is super fast and no hunting like my 70-300 AF tends to USM. You can hear the motor, but is not as strong as the Canon 70-300 USM. Image stabilization is also good, had a lot of pictures that have been saved with this function, especially in low light or no flash situation. Finally, I mention "digital photo" ISO 12 233 Crop (google this, I can not give a link). The test scared the crud out of me, and do a lot of people spew hate this goal. That makes this case look mild in comparison with some other goals. When they started shooting, I thought it was clearly an issue until I realized that my little brother had changed the standard ISO 1600. Thank you, brother! After it is established, everything was as strong as I expected. Once this is done my own field studies, I realized that the ISO 12 233 cultures was not the whole story, which I do not plan on keeping this sucker to a tripod and shoot.
